How does the ticket/QR-code work? If there are gates at the station, you can open them with the QR-code. You will find the QR-code in the 'My rides' section of the app. If there are no gates, you can just get on the train. When checking tickets, the ticket inspector will scan your QR-code. How long is the ticket valid? Your train ticket is valid on the day of travel and remains valid until 04:00 in the morning the following day. In other words, if you buy a ticket for a train that departs at 21:00 in the evening, you can continue to use your ticket until 04:00 the following morning? Can I travel the same route on another service operated by NS? Yes, you don't have to take the exact train you buy a ticket for. You can travel on each NS train on your route for the rest of the day. So no worries if your plans change.
