Where can I travel with Connexxion buses in the Netherlands?

Connexxion operates buses in several parts of the Netherlands, for example in the Amsterdam region. You can take a Connexxion bus from Schiphol airport to the city center of Amsterdam, or to the beaches of Zandvoort and the neighbouring city of Haarlem. In the Amsterdam region, you will find GVB buses next to Connexxion buses.  You can not only travel with Connexxion buses around Amsterdam, but also in the southwest of the country. For example, in the Hoeksche Waard, Goeree-Overflakkee and in the province of Zeeland.

How do Connexxion tickets work?

How does the ticket/QR-code work?  On most buses, you scan your QR code when boarding. If this is not possible, show the bus driver your QR code. You do not need to scan the QR code when leaving the bus.  How long is the ticket valid?  Your ticket becomes valid in the app 15 minutes before departure and remains valid for 30 minutes after the bus you booked is due to arrive.  Can I travel the same route on another service operated by the same company?  Yes, you can do this on Connexxion bus services. Your ticket becomes valid in the app 15 minutes before the bus you booked is due to depart and remains valid for 30 minutes after the bus you booked is due to arrive. So if you arrive early, you can catch an earlier bus. And if you just miss the one you booked or if it is cancelled, you can travel on the next one. Please note! You must complete your ride within the period of time mentioned above.
