How do I swipe through public transport?

To swipe, glimble uses your phone's GPS location. You give permission once to share your location. At the beginning of your trip, you swipe right to start your trip and at the end of your trip, you swipe left to swipe out. The app automatically records your trip and charges the appropriate fare. Once you've swiped in, you get a QR code to open the gates at the station, or to show at a checkpoint.

How to pay as I swipe through public transport?

Buy a travel package in the webshop and pay in advance, for example with iDEAL or Sofort. Or link your credit card in the glimble app. Payment is processed automatically when you swipe.

In which regions can swiping with glimble?

You can swipe on all Arriva buses and trains throughout Limburg. From Limburg, you can also swipe to Aachen and Cologne.Besides Limburg, you will soon be able to swipe with Arriva trains in Friesland and Groningen. We are working to expand this to more regions.

My screen keeps loading when I try to swipe out. What can I do?

If your display keeps charging when you swipe out, this could be due to a weak GPS connection. Change your location by walking a little outside to achieve a better range.

I think my itinerary has not been properly registered?

While swiping, we accurately map your itinerary and then calculate the correct fare. Do you still see a mistake in your created trip afterwards? No worries! Our is at your service 7 days a week. They will be happy to help you and adjust the route afterwards if necessary. So you never pay too much.

When will I receive my ticket?

Swipe in and immediately receive your ticket for public transport with QR code. Use it to get through the gates at the station or to show at a control. You will find your ticket on the 'Swipe' tab in the glimble app. Click on 'View my ticket' to view the QR code.

Use the QR code to open a gate at the station, scan it on the bus or at a control on the train.

3. Relaxed travel Relax and enjoy your journey. Change to another Arriva bus or train in Limburg in between journeys? You can just do that, glimble recognizes the switch automatically. So you don't have to do anything.
